The key to Pierce Insurance Agencies success during the past quarter of a century is simple, it is our experienced staff.
Our associates credentials exceed industry expectations, and we encourage our associates to attain the industries respected designations of CIC, CPCU, CISR and others by subsidizing their continued education in their field. We encourage bright, competent men and women to build their careers with us by offering competitive compensation and a pleasant work environment. The pride in our work is your assurance that every proposal from Pierce Insurance Agency is put together by a team of creative, experienced insurance professionals whose number one goal is to protect your business, personal assets and well being in the most cost-effective way possible.
Now as in the past, we base every decision on what is best for our clients. Pierce Insurance Agency is just the right size company to achieve this; large enough to carry weight with the companies we represent, yet small enough to be responsive to each and every client. Our size and stability give us the security to look out for our clients interests at all times, because in the long run that is best for our business as well.
I started selling insurance with my father David in 1980. I am licensed and sell all lines of business and personal insurance. In 1991 I obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. In 2003 I purchased the agency from my father. I have enjoyed the many contacts and friendships I have made over the years. I will always try my hardest to earn and keep your business. |

I have been with Pierce Insurance Agency since 2001 and have a strong background in the service/sales industry. I specialize in commercial, personal, health and life insurance.
I have forged several strong relationships with the insurance companies we write for and serve on the Agent Advisory Committee with West Bend Mutual. I earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) award in 2006.
My philosophy is that insurance is more than a policy. It is a promise of service and protection: to be there in the event of a claim, to grow along with your needs and to change with your life. My commitment is to always look out for your family and hard earned assets.

Unlike your automobile or home, insurance protection is often considered intangible, similar to what the future might be. However, my experience working on “both sides of the street” has proven that ensuring that you have adequate insurance coverage is one of the most important and tangible decisions a person can make.
After obtaining my Master's Degree, in 1986, I started my professional career working for an insurance carrier as a safety consultant or as they were termed “the eyes and ears of the underwriter”. At that time being young, I did not believe losses occurred. After 5 years, I went to work in the construction industry, responsible for insurance and risk management and I soon discovered how important accurate and complete coverage is to a successful business. For the next 14 years, I saw first-hand how important insurance, safety and heavy construction projects work together; side-by-side to complete large building projects and protect the owners, managers, employers and employees who had a financial stake in there successful outcome.
When the Pierce Agency opportunity presented itself, I realized that I could provide my knowledge, skills, and experience to commercial, agricultural, personal, life and health insurance markets and I have not looked back since.
Helping people understand the importance of protecting themselves, explaining how to do so and then providing the coverage at a reasonable rate has become a passion and personal mission statement.

I am the son of Gary Pierce, and the grandson of David Pierce. After being born and raised here in Litchfield, I went to St. Cloud State and got my bachelor's degree in Insurance/Risk Management. I have been back in Litchfield selling insurance since 2010, and I sell all types of commercial and personal insurance. I have been around insurance my whole life, and have been licensed since 2005 when I was 18 years old.
It is always a pleasure to meet new people around the area that I grew up. Whether you are an individual, family, small business or large corporation, we all have something that we want to protect in the event of a loss. There is no one person or client that is more important than another. It is my job to make sure that all different types of risk that you face are identified and covered correctly.
